You’re never too young (or old) to learn proper manners

Written by Ibti Vincent, Outreach Specialist

Have you heard about Manners Talk? Stop by the community table this weekend to learn about Vicki Fleming’s work with 1st graders at the School Within School at Peabody. The classes are a part of the school’s extended aftercare program and include lessons that encourage and help to reinforce the importance of demonstrating respect, kindness, and concern towards others as well as themselves. Or talk with Ms. Fleming about her periodic special workshops, such as a recent 2-hour session on Table Manners and Good Communications Skills with Best Kids. Her workshops are known to include interactive games and dialogue while students learn the proper use of silverware, utensils and napkins. Learn the art of the table and more….
