This weekend: Chipotle gives away $5 tokens to use at the Columbia Heights farmers market!

Written by Ibti Vincent, Outreach Specialist

Yes, you read that correctly: Chipotle is giving away $5 tokens to the first 200 people that stop by the cooking demonstration this Saturday!

So come by the cooking demo tent, taste some fresh salsa made with ingredients grown by our very own CHCM farmers and prepared by Chipotle staffmembers Barry and Elizabeth, and pick up a token.

Note: tokens must be used to purchase food at the Columbia Heights Community Marketplace that day (9am-1pm on Saturday, June 23). These special tokens expire at the end of the market, and cannot be redeemed elsewhere, so be sure to use them to purchase some delicious, local food at the market that day. Something like fresh blueberries, perhaps??

Thanks, Chipotle, for your generous support of our market! (As if this wasn’t enough, Chipotle is also donating 50% of proceeds from sales the following Monday — June 25 — from 5-8pm at their Columbia Heights location. More details on that to come….)
