Congratulations to the latest pair of “Best of the Marketplace” bag winners — a monthly raffle sponsored by our friends at the local branch of the Lafayette Federal Credit Union.

This week’s winners took home loaded market bags filled with $40-worth of:

  • apples from Licking Creek Bend Farm
  • peppers and onions from Pleitez Produce
  • head lettuce from Five Seeds Farm
  • cheese from Spriggs Delight and Chapel Country Creamery
  • homemade hummus from Wisteria Gardens
  • pastured chicken eggs from Twin Post Farm
  • fresh bread from Upper Crust Bakery
  • fruit tartlets from Goldilocks Goodies
  • spicy salsa from El Sabor Del Taco
  • green beans from Dragonfly Farm
  • sweet cherry tomatoes from Chesley Vegetable Farm
  • ground beef from Country Vittles

It was quite a haul, if I do say so myself. Here are some pics of the happy winners, Ryan and Joanne.

Next time, this could be you. You’ll need to buy at least one $2 raffle ticket to enter, though….
