CHCM Branded Canopies Arrive at Market

Jun17
2012
Written by chfestivus

People streaming to the Columbia Heights Community Marketplace on the Civic Plaza on 14th Street and Park Road, NW on Saturday, June 16th were greeted with a cornucopia of colored vendor canopies that enhance the pedestrian experience on and around the plaza area.

Here’s a a big shout out to the Board of Directors of the Community Marketplace, the 501c3 non-profit organization that operates the farmers market and other programs, and the individual efforts of Board President Crista Gibbons, Executive Director Robert Schubert, Market Manager Josh Levine, and Columbia Heights resident and volunteer Ashkon Randall. However, the biggest applause goes to Andrew Krieger, the board member whose efforts made the canopies a reality! Great Job!
Here are some of our vendors showing off the new canopies, which feature the CHCM name, logo and website:
Goldilocks Goodies
Bonaparte Breads loves the canopies!
A view of the Civic Plaza from across 14th. So colorful!
