25 June: support your local farmers market while dining at Chipotle this Monday night!

Written by Ibti Vincent, Outreach Specialist

In what they’re calling “Raising Green for Green’s Sake,” our local Chipotle restaurant is donating 50% of dinner sales to support the Columbia Heights Community Marketplace.

Here’s how it works:
1. Come to Chipotle (3113 14th Street, NW) between 5 and 8pm on Monday.
2. Purchase something… anything… an order of luscious pork carnitas tacos, a veggie burrito the size of your head, a beef fajita taco bowl…
3. Tell the cashier that you’re there to support your local farmers market.

Bam! 50% of the purchase goes to support CHCM programs! It’s that simple.

So make dinner a selfless act. You probably will be exhausted from the flurry of cooking all weekend, using many of the delicious ingredients you picked up at the Marketplace, so take a break from cooking for just one night and join us at your local Chipotle.

(As if it wasn’t enough that they are generously gaving out $5 tokens for free food to 200 market shoppers this weekend for use at the CHCM….)
